An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pension System Analyst to join an established In-house Pension team in London.

The main purpose of the role will be to support both in-house IT and Pension Administrative functions.The right candidate will ideally have a Graduate background with some computing content In-house Pensions IT support and good communication/interface skills between users and 3rd party system provider(s).

The role will involve the following duties:

  • Provide user and IT support for all department-based applications including some elements of Cloud systems.
  • Ensure that the department systems are maintained regularly to keep operational status as high as possible.
  • Work on various Pensions related projects, which included System Upgrade and User Testing, mortality and address tracing, TPR reporting and data analysis/cleansing, updating and amending annual benefit statement and Pension Increase routines, producing training documentation, and adhoc reporting.
  • Undertake other tasks and projects as and when requested by the Systems Project Manager and/or the departments heads.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an In-house Pension team within a varied IT focused role where you will work closely with the Head of Pension Systems and broaden your experience within this exciting new role.

Cloud/citrix systems incorporating Profund Classic/Propay, Profund Document Manager, Profund Work Manager and Aviary with in house applications/databases, SQL Reporting Services, MS Office

Skills/Experience:

A good knowledge of Profund Classic/Propay as both a user and programmer with Profund Report Writer and Data views skills.
Proven ability of writing VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in Excel and Word
Excellent data manipulation skills in Excel
Proven level of skill in Word including mail merging, setting up of bookmarks and formatting

Good understanding and experience of in-house administration environment for both FS and MP

Desirable

Graduate background with some computing content
In-house Pensions IT support and good communication/interface skills between users and 3rd party system provider(s).
Practical experience of writing Profund Instruction Sets
Solid foundation in analytic programming languages such as VBA
Used SQL and can understand/interpret basic SQL scripts
Understand data security and encryption methodologies
Crystal Reports
Microsoft SharePoint
