£38,000 per annum + Overtime (Not compulsory - paid at x 1.5) + Benefits + Progression Opportunities.
SHIFT - Continental Shift Pattern - 12 Hour Shifts - 4 On 4 Off days and nights

Day shift engineer roles are available paying £34k
A global FMCG company and a leading player in the UK and worldwide food manufacturing sector has recently completed a £multi-million investment and expansion into the site and operation. They continue to be at the forefront of new technologies and processes within the industry. The site is easily accessible from the M4, with free onsite parking and a subsidised canteen. The company also invests regularly into the local community.
With the expansion of the site there is a number of engineer roles available. We are looking for talented electrical bias multi-skilled maintenance engineers, ideally with manufacturing experience. Experience gained within the Food Manufacturing industry would be highly desirable, but we will consider candidates from most engineering, maintenance or manufacturing environments.
The successful engineers will have a time served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline and a higher qualification such as C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC, OND/HND or degree.
Within the role of electrical bias / multi-skilled engineer you with be responsible for the maintenance of site equipment and systems in accordance with health and safety, quality and food hygiene standards. You will provide quick and effective, reactive breakdown maintenance of site equipment as well as being involved in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of all equipment.
You will have previous experience within an engineering role, a proven history of fault finding, rectification and experience of maintenance techniques. You will have worked with manufacturing equipment including but not exclusive to conveyors, robots, motors, wrappers, packaging machinery, grinders, sensors and inverters.
PLC experience with experience fault finding, diagnosing problems and fixing problems using the PLC's would be an advantage but not essential.
