Payroll & Benefits Officer
My client who are a leading independent player in the European Financial Markets, are looking for an experience Payroll & Benefits officer to manage their payroll and benefits liasing with the external payroll provider.
They have offices in Paris, London, Frankfurt, Milan, Geneva, Madrid, Stockholm and Singapore and employs more than 800 people.

The company offers research, distribution and execution services on European stocks to institutional clients.
The Research team comprises over 100 analysts based in London and Paris who together cover the vast majority of the listed European big cap stocks. The team works closely with our Sales, Sales-trading, Trading and Corporate Marketing serving a broad spectrum of institutions worldwide.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the Payroll and Benefits Specialist will be member of HR team, with sole responsibility of managing the UK payroll.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly payroll operation for 250 employees and validation process in partnership with outsourced payroll vendor.
Manage a small international payroll and validation process in partnership with outsourced payroll vendor.
Work in partnership with Compensation and Benefits team based in Paris.
Work closely with HR Business Partner and HR Analyst regarding new starters, leavers, contract changes and termination payments.
Liaise with Finance to in order to manage the monthly reporting and reconcile company accounts.
Maintain internal HR Systems.
Manage end of year process (P11D/P60/PSA/Short Term Business Visitors).
Work with KPMG to ensure Expat end of year tax returns are submitted correctly and organise tax assistance meetings for Expat employees.
Compile monthly payroll journal that is used by both Finance and Comp and Bens in Paris.
Reconcile company bank accounts on a monthly basis for Finance.
Compile monthly headcount reports for finance and board level.
Produce reports on Ad-Hoc basis from internal systems as requested by the business.
Process all company invoices using internal invoice system.
Ensure all employee benefits are correctly managed (Pension/PMI/Risk Benefits/Season Ticket Loans etc).
Work closely with Benefits Provider to ensure you are up to date with current benefit trends.
In conjunction with Benefits Provider, arrange regular staff briefings to ensure all employees are kept up to date.
Manage initiatives on employee wellness and wellbeing (staff discounts, arrange annual flu-jabs etc).
Work with HR and Comp and Bens teams in Paris for topics related to London (HR systems, training)
Ensure Payroll & HR processes are regularly kept up to date
