Job Title: Head of Early Help

Location: Long Stratton

Salary: £52,015 - £55,743

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

This is an exciting time to join our client as they are leading the way on Early Help with their innovative approach to prevention. This newly created post will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to take a leading role in shaping and delivering services that enhance not only the lives of all our residents, but those that need help the most.

They are seeking candidates with a strong desire to work collaboratively with a range of services and teams as well as the voluntary sector and the community itself, to deliver their innovative approach to early help and prevention services.

Alongside this, you will lead and deliver their community capacity building approach; supporting elected Members to take leadership with their community roles.

Housing and Benefits are also a key focus within this job role, ensuring that the most vulnerable residents have access to appropriate housing and the right welfare support. As a council recently recognised as a homelessness prevention trailblazer by the Prime Minster, our client are developing innovative approaches to ensure that they support those threatened with homelessness at the earliest opportunity.

Good experience of working with partners to enable delivery of the best possible outcomes for our communities and residents is a pre-requisite, along with a proven track record of first-class delivery at pace.

Strong leadership, innovation and ambition are needed and as the Head of Early Help, you will play a major role in defining and leading on future strategy, development and improvement
