The Role
As the Business Development Manager you will be based anywhere in the UK as this will be the region you will cover. However, you will be based out of the London showroom so the ideal location will be London and the south east. You will be charged with promoting my client's range of seating (task / meeting / conference / soft etc) to furniture dealers throughout the UK. This will mean face to face meetings and presentations with key decision makers within identified 'target' dealers, phone work (to follow up with contacts and projects) and some general admin duty. You will be measured by the value of quoted seating projects, and value of orders secured.

The Candidate
The successful candidate for this Business Development Manager position must have previous experience and a proven track record of successful sales in seating - selling into dealerships. Having successful relationships with architects and designers would also be beneficial. You will be a tenacious and self-motivated individual who is target-driven and has the resilience and autonomy to succeed in a demanding but rewarding environment.

The Package
For this Business Development Manager role you will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £40,000 with a generous, uncapped commission structure bringing OTE to around £60,000. Additional benefits include a car allowance (valued at £4,000 per year), laptop and phone.
