We are looking to recruit a Site Manager for a Social Housing Contract based in Nottingham. Our Client is a National Social Housing Contractor looking for reliable and experienced Site Manager for their project in Nottingham.

The Client is running several Social Housing contracts in the Nottinghamshire area particularly Repairs & Maintenance projects so previous experience working as a Site Manager on a Social Housing contract is a must. The project you will be covering is a complex project covering a range of schemes EWI (External Wall Insulation), Solar PVs, External and Internal upgrades, Balcony's etc.

As the Site Manager on this particular contract, you will responsible for:
" Managing a site team including Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officers, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget
" Monitoring Health and Safety on site
" Attending progress and Client meetings
" Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise
" Striving to achieve production targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met
" Reading and understanding specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
" Requisition and management of materials/delivery
" Liaising with the design team to maintain good working relationships
You must have SMSTS and First Aid certificates a CSCS Managers card and an Asbestos Awareness certificate, although this is not essential as we can arrange for you to do this on line before you start.

The Client is looking to get a Site Manager ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis. The rate at this stage is negotiable.
