Boba Commodities is a relatively new private trading firm based in Chiswick.

The company started operations in 2013 and has seen steady growth in its business.

Due to this expansion, Boba Commodities are looking to hire a Trading Support Analyst to liaise with the trading team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily P&L reconciliation processes, error resolution.
• Monitoring live P&L for the team.
• Maintaining and taking ownership of a variety of VBA models, working directly with the trading team to communicate changes.
• Circulating reports to the wider group.
• Monitoring and updating key market alerts.
• Using the Bloomberg application to build charts and other instruments for the trading team.
• Liaising with 3rd parties & IT support to resolve technical issues.

We are looking for an analyst with the following skill set.


• Strong Excel Skills, knowledge of VBA /Recording of Macros/Pivot Tables.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional data manipulation skills - keen attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills, ability to liaise with employees at all levels of the business.
• Analytical mind, highly structured, process based approach to each task. Ability to demonstrate logical problem solving skills.
• Evidence to clearly prioritize and remain adaptable in a constantly changing environment.
• Team player with a strong self-motivation.
• Flexible approach to working hours.


• Degree Educated in a Mathematical/Engineering/Science based discipline (Upper 2nd class honors or better).
• History of working in an Accounting/Auditing background as an analyst.
• Back office experience at a reputable blue chip organization.
• Experience of using Bloomberg/Reuters.
• Experience of producing KPI reports.
• Experience of working in a support role focused on error resolution.
• Relational database knowledge SQL or equivalent.

This role will attract a salary of c£36,000 with a bonus of up to £10,000.

Short listed candidates will be expected to complete a short test before being offered an interview.

Successful candidates will be expected to start with the company as soon as possible
