The Role: (Service Engineer)

We currently have a vacancy for a Service Engineer who would be based in the West Midlands near our Birmingham sales & service facility and would cover customer sites in all regions of the UK (may include nights away from home) with the possibility of some international travel.

Candidates should preferably have electro-mechanical engineering experience or be electrically biased as a minimum.

The role will focus on fault finding, repairing, servicing and installing our varied range of industrial equipment. The successful candidate will ideally have experience with fault finding of industrial electrical control systems including PLC’s, logic controllers, inverters, etc. Also ideally have experience with Motors, changing bearings, Mechanical repairs, along with some Pneumatic experience (Ideally)

The applicant should be IT literate and be able to work comfortably with software packages such as Word, Excel & Outlook.

A fork truck license and IPAF certificate would be of benefit, but training will be provided.

Full product training will be given and the successful Service Engineer will need to work on their own initiative and as part of an experienced team of service engineers who report to the Engineering Manager. The applicant should have a positive working attitude, be self-motivated, well organised with excellent communication and reporting skills
