This is an opportunity for a bright Application Software Support Consultant to learn SQL Server and multiple modules of an ERP software solution, working in a busy, friendly team of ERP Support Consultants, with real prospects to move into software implementation in the future if you want to. They are located just north east of central Birmingham, convenient for the M6.

This ERP software company has been in business for 15 years and provides total business solutions for the manufacturing and supply chain industries. They have a team of 8 Application Support Consultants and 5 people in the technical support area, providing a high level of customer support to their client base of over 300 nationwide clients.

Some of the clients have 50 users across all areas of the business and the product covers manufacturing, accounting & invoicing, supply chain, CRM, warehouse management, document management, distribution and sales & marketing. It is built in .Net with a SQL Server backend.

The specialist ERP software that they own and sell, covers lots of different modules and functions, so you will always be doing something different. This means the support emails and telephone calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated making this a nice working environment. The applications support people work on answering support telephone calls and get a lot of support tickets through their online Portal. They use their own in-house ERP software to log and track the calls, which is a nice feature.

They are looking for a bright, dedicated candidate and you need to have software application support experience within any application software sector, so it could be ERP or CRM, Property Management or Construction software, Accounting or Financial Software, MRP, HR or Payroll, or even Document Management or Legal software. If you also have some technical skills with SQL Server or any Servers, or any database experience that would be a bonus.

Reasons to work here:

* You will learn SQL Server in-depth which is a skill in high demand
* You will learn many new modules of ERP software
* You will work with a fun, busy and happy team of support consultants
* The manager is a decent guy, great to work with and always fair
* You can move into software implementation in the future if desired

Their clients are from 100's of different industries so you will get experience of a wide range of businesses, and support people in this team get promoted into consulting and software implementation, so the prospects here are great.
