We are currently recruiting male support workers to offer high quality support cover within our 24 hour supported living service. We are developing a new support package for a young male in the Plymouth area- to support him to live independently in his own home. Drivers are essential.

The right support needs to be able to keep each individual safe and be able to build a strong relationship with them. He requires a team that can support them to access the community, and that are willing to take positive risks, team members to drive forward new experiences, provide outcome based support and focus on positive behaviour support. He needs a team that will work therapeutically providing regular and stimulating activities throughout the day and a team that has good knowledge of learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

We a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee that operates as a provider of social care services for people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum condition.

We have vast experience in supporting people who have previously challenged services and require very high support needs. People who once lived in hospital settings now live successfully in their own homes and have become valued members of their communities. We achieve this by delivering support that values and builds on people's interests, skills and abilities, promoting self-esteem, dignity and respect.

We provide and resource a wide range of training programmes which are made available to staff. Working towards this nationally recognised standard of excellence has created a positive learning culture within our organisation and as a result we have an excellent record in developing our staff team.

We also offer a number of Apprenticeship options throughout different services in Cornwall, Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. You can choose to access Health and Social Care, Business and Administration, Team Leading or Management.
