We are looking for a Caravan Sales & Marketing Assistant for a boutique Holiday Park Company with two relaxing parks set in stunning locations in Dumfries & Galloway.

This interesting and diverse role will include responsibility for the Caravan Sales and Marketing across both Parks so we are seeking someone with a background in the Holiday Park and Leisure industry.

As the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing across both sites, a full current driving licence with own transport will be required to commute between the Parks as and when required.

This role would possibly suit a small park Office Manager or Sales Person who has a good understanding of holiday park operations along with previous sales and marketing responsibilities. The role does cover a range of different aspects so our clients are looking for a highly organised, computer literate person who can engage with their customers to build strong customer relationships.

This position is for a 40 hour week which will include weekends and Bank Holidays and there may be accommodation available onsite for the right candidate if required.

The Person-

• Must have previous experience in a holiday park environment
• Be confident using Microsoft Office and park software systems
• Have previous caravan sales experience and demonstrate a good
understanding of the full sales process
• To be able to work on their own initiative to make decisions on the park in
line with company policy
• To deliver excellent customer service and aftersales care for park owners
• Must have previous marketing experience to assist with keeping the park
websites up-to-date and to be able to use social media for park
promotions/special offers.
• Have a good eye for detail and be sales/aftersales paperwork and website
updating.

Key Accountabilities

• Report to Park Manager on day to day basis.
• Be aware of and adhere to company’s Health & Safety Policy.
• Be aware of opening and closing procedures for the building.
• Maintains a professional appearance on site and out on location.
• Carry out PDI checks on all stock and liaise with Manufacturers and park
maintenance regarding any customer aftersales issues to ensure they
resolved
in a timely manner
• Ensure all leaflets, info packs, promotional materials on display, notice
board; etc are current, tidy and well displayed.
• Ensure all customer records are kept accurately and updated as required.
• To continually monitor customer satisfaction and action improvement
where required
• Attend Park management meetings and make quality contributions for the
benefit of the business.
• Work to achieve pre-agreed targets as set by Park Manager.
• Manage own time effectively to maximise business benefit.
• Strive to enhance the total customer experience on Park and monitors
results.
• Monitor and update Company websites.
• Pro-actively assist with promotions and events to generate sales.
• Monitor and contribute to company social media listings.
• Ensure all sales stock is always clean, dressed and fully prepared for
customer viewings
• Follow up all sales leads and provide monthly reports to Park Manager
• Assist with the creation of marketing material for both Parks.
• Promote the Company offsite and at exhibitions when required.
• Cover Reception duties when required.
• Network with local businesses to boost the package offered to customers.
• Monitor occupancy and creates “special offers” when required.
• Prepare welcome packs and meets and greets new customers.
• Review customer experience following sales and log feedback.
• Carry out handovers for all Holiday Home purchasers.
