Clark James Financial Services Recruitment are working with a highly established IFA for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their office based in London. The Financial Services Administrator role requires strong knowledge of administering Pensions, Investment and Protection products and of dealing with HNW clients, providing effective pre and post sales support to the Financial Advisers

Duties will include:

  • Dealing with day to day client and provider enquiries
  • Arranging client meetings for the adviser
  • Preparing for client meetings including quote requests, obtaining valuations and appropriate literature
  • Preparing and submitting applications and supporting documents to product providers
  • Inputting new business proposals
  • Fund switches
  • Maintaining accurate communication records
  • Typing adviser dictation for file and meeting notes
  • Maintaining up to date client fact find information on the back office system
  • Maintaining client files in line with Compliance procedures
  • Fee tracking

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Investments, Life and pensions products, and legislation
  • Minimum of 2 years IFA industry experience
  • Certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent, and happy to continue studies towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Highly IT literate and ideally knowledge of SPP Adviser back office system and Nucleus
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential qualities for this role


  • Basic salary circa £22,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience and professional qualifications)
