Head of Operations - Financial Services (Alternative Asset Management), Central London, £80-100,000.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic, execution-oriented leader. An experienced manager of support and infrastructure teams with at least 5+ years' experience in a similar role. A proven track record of delivering and improving support services to Clients in a Managed Services environment and ideally to the Finance Sector.

Head of Operations - Key Skills:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of experience.
- At least 5+ years working within a management and support facing role.
- Excellent understanding of Infrastructure Technology and Alternative Asset Market (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, FoF).
- Managed Service Provider or IT Services environment experience is strongly preferred.
- Financial Service Industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of engineers.
- Experience managing a team of technicians.
- Good working knowledge and experience in Windows Server 2003-2008, Exchange 2003-2010, AD, LAN/WAN.
- ITIL practitioner
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.

About the Role:

Responsibilities will include:

- Managing a team of engineers; 50:50 split between client service Engineers and Service Desk Engineers.
- Coaching, mentoring and guiding the individuals in the Support team with an ethos of High Quality Service Delivery.
- Ensure first Contact resolution is aimed for on a daily basis.
- Meeting and/or exceeding client SLA's
- Assisting clients directly in Strategy, Vendor Management, Regulatory and Risk subjects.
- Ensuring maintenance of client workstations and servers, patch management of client infrastructure will be managed by the relevant teams.
