**Field based role - Selling SaaS / eLearning software to companies throughout the UK**

Our client, a fast growing (Irish Deloitte Technology Fast50) technology brand, with an extensive blue-chip client base, is now seeking an experienced sales professional to sell two products from their online software portfolio into the UK market. Within your role, you will have responsibility for identifying, engaging and negotiating with new businesses across the UK region, with a view to closing deals.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you must be confident, intelligent, and experienced with the ability to negotiate at board level. You will also be a very driven self-starter; able to identify and progress a sales lead right through the sales cycle.

Our client's office is based in Chester, though your experience and ability are of more importance than your location.

The role
- As a Business Development Manager, your role will involve selling safety training and risk assessment SaaS solutions to both SMEs and large enterprises. You will need to be web savvy and fully conversant with issues relating to browsers, firewalls, hosting and data security.
- Identify potential clients to sell the software system to, and take the process through from initial contact, client meeting to closing the deal and developing the client.
- Self-generation of leads in the UK going for direct sales.
- Working to contact potential businesses throughout the UK to directly generate sales.
- You will deliver results by hitting realistic targets.

* Due to the value of the sales, the sales cycle can be many months which means you'll need a consultative approach. You will also need the initiative, drive and hunger to develop your own business opportunities. Unlimited commission earnings rewards hard work with very generous remuneration.

- Start building a partnership network for a Policy Viewing Product and this would-be part of this role along with selling our standard software suite.

The person
Reporting directly to the CEO, you must be confident, intelligent, and experienced with the ability to negotiate at board level. You will also be a very driven self-starter; able to identify and progress a sales lead right through the sales cycle.

* Well-developed sales prospecting and business development skills.
* To be considered for this position, you must have proven software sales experience.
* An engaging personality, and excellent communication and organisational skills are also vital.

- The ability to not only sell, but to truly develop business.
- Gravitas - Capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels, able to gain respect, trust and confidence of senior management, partners and clients.
- Relationship builder and absolute 'can-do' attitude.

* Good client relationship and rapport building skills.

- Strong Business Acumen.
- You must be a self-starter motivated by results.

* The ability to communicate the long-term value of an efficient, feature-rich product over lower cost rivals.
* Excellent telephone sales skills and email/proposal writing skills.
* The confidence to present feature-rich software to large audiences.

Experience required

* A proven track record in selling SaaS/ eLearning and knowledge of the Health and Safety. market would be an advantage.

- 2 - 3 years' relevant sales experience.
- Experience in developing new business from cold.
- Experience in setting up own sales appointments.

Our client is an established, agile, fast growing company (Deloitte Technology Fast50) based in the outskirts of Chester. With the main aim of providing outstanding service to their extensive blue-chip client base, they are a well-respected technology brand, encompassing a small but thriving team of enthusiastic tech specialists across Support, Development and Sales & Marketing, split across 2 offices, this small office in the UK and a head office in Ireland.

The salary
£35,000 basic Negotiable depending on experience. OTE of £50k to £60k with the ability to earn well in excess as commission is not capped.
Commission: 4% on the full-term value of the deal. All commission is paid up front.
This package will include car allowance and health allowance
