A bit about you…
We are looking for someone with a passion for writing and a flair for creativity to enhance our proposals and help us redefine our approach to tender management. We define ourselves by the quality of our services and expect the successful candidate to be able to reflect these standards within their writing; however, we aren’t always 'suited and booted’ and you will get the chance to write some great pieces in a variety of styles for clients ranging from local businesses to global brands.
Reporting directly into the Commercial Manager (and working regularly with our Content Manager), you will be responsible for the timely and efficient management of tenders; from start to finish; as well as presentation design and creation of ad-hoc sales collateral (e.g. whitepapers). This is an ambitious team with equally ambitious targets and as such, previous experience within an established Bid Team is highly advantageous - bonus points if you also have relevant industry experience (or laser vision)!
Essentially, your role will involve:
- Identifying new opportunities for the tender sales pipeline
- Coordination and project management of tenders from PQQ to presentation
- Writing original content for submissions (and contributing to the tender library)
- Liaising and coordinating with the sales teams and business stakeholders
- Supporting the design or presentations and sales collateral
- Creating monthly tender reports for Commercial Management
In addition to experience with the above, you should ideally have strong team-working skills, a proven track-record of working to tight deadlines and delivering under pressure, and an eye for detail that would make an eagle blush.
