Full-Stack Developer to join an exciting innovation lab

- Full Time
MondayLabs is an innovation lab powered by reed.co.uk. We look at how we can help even more people love Mondays in the future by generating, validating and building ideas that will revolutionise the way people connect to the right job. If you’re a full-stack developer with a passion for innovation then we need you!
As a member of the MondayLabs team, you’ll be working with a small, autonomous group of talented innovators leveraging technology to solve challenging problems. In this exciting environment, it’s all about creating user value and finding the best way to test new solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with ground-breaking technology, test and build things the way you think they should be built and see new ideas come to fruition.
The ideal MondayLabs team member:
Loves exploring new ideas
Doesn’t mind starting off with discovery work and talking to customers
Understands that building something is not always the quickest way to validate an assumption
Is happy to do whatever it takes to make a new idea work
Has startup experience and thrives working in an environment where it’s vital to learn (and sometimes pivot or fail) fast
Has at least 3 years of development experience and the ability to pick up frontend as well as backend work
Loves being part of a small team
Craves the autonomy to influence what they’re working on
Can’t wait to start working out what the future looks like
This job is a great fit for any developer who’s worked in a Lean/Agile environment, preferably in a startup or innovation lab. As many of the ideas we’ll be coming up with together will start from something close to a blank canvas, we’re not too worried about the tech stack you’re familiar with, as long as you’re awesome, flexible and happy to learn new things.
We’re looking for an engineer developer rather than a coder: someone who can help us shape solutions rather than just execute. If you want to be involved in deciding what we build and how it will bring value to the user - and not just picking up tickets off a backlog - this is the role for you.
