An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Healthcare Improvement Scotland within the Improvement Hub (ihub). The ihub is currently developing a range of new approaches to support improvements in health and social care across Scotland.  This position is in the Primary Care Portfolio Team, whose focus is to develop, test and implement a range of transformational approaches to drive safe, effective and person-centred improvements across primary care settings.

As an experienced administrator, you will provide a range of support tasks including organising meetings/events, diary management, minute taking, arranging travel and accommodation, processing invoices and liaising with health and social care professionals and other colleagues throughout Scotland. 

You should be educated to HNC level or have demonstrable equivalent experience in administration. Possessing sound and effective communication skills with good attention to detail, you will already have gained sufficient experience in a similar role and adopt a flexible approach to resolve issues proactively. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.   Experience of event administration, formal secretariat support or one-to-one support to senior management and experience using web-based content management systems would be desirable.
