About the role
As part of the Financial Accounts team, the Senior Group Financial Accountant is responsible for the delivery of Annual Report and Interim financial statements, subsidiary accounts, Board Report, various strategic model scenarios and Group Finance projects.
assist in group financial reporting
maintain and develop financial strategic forecast model
prepare going concern, distributable reserves, bank covenant papers to audit committee
assist financial system development
develop financial analysis tools
other ad hic projects arising through finance transformation project
This would ideally suit an ACA qualified accountant with solid post-qualification experience gained within a large & complex business. Strong group consolidations experience is essential plus commercial acumen and an ability to understand and solve underlying issues . Confidence & credibility in dealing with senior level stakeholders is also important.
Your experience will include:
Qualified ACA, solid post-qualification experience
Industry experience in a corporate environment
Prior Group Accounting and Consolidation experience required
Prior experience of HFM and SAP strongly beneficial
Experience of working in a fast paced environment and ability to prioritise a changing workload and use initiative
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information
