Zachary Daniels are working exclusively with a large UK pharmacy business to source an area manager to cover their North West Wales patch.
Managing 21 sites, this is an established area with a strong team across the board. Relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders plus great communication skills are absolutely key for this role.
As you would expect, you'll be responsible for leading and motivating your teams whilst promoting exceptional standards of both retail and dispensary practice, and also ensuring NHS and OTC growth.
One of the unique points of difference for my client versus their competitors is the level of autonomy you have to get results. There is no "one size fits all" way of working - you will use your experience and commercial acumen to keep improving performance. Support will be provided to ensure your success in this role by a strong Head Office team of both clinical and operational experts to help you ensure the profitability of each branch.
You will ideally have a degree in Pharmacy or similar along with a background in pharmacy management. Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen to make sound business decisions go without saying. You will also have the ability to lead a team of healthcare professionals and ideally you will have experience of field based management.
Non-pharmacists are equally welcome to apply, particularly if you have worked within the pharmacy sector previously. Experience of managing clinical professionals outside of pharmacy will also be considered, eg. vets, optoms, dentists.
Your area will cover North West Wales from Holyhead to Bangor, down to Pwllheli and Porthmadog. As my client considers work/life balance to be very important, you will need to live within about an hours drive of the area. Alternatively, if you're looking to relocate to this beautiful part of the world, relocation support is available.
If this appeals to you and your experience fits the bill, please apply with your latest CV.
