Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager 

Work for a world without dementia 

Our client is a dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager 
Location: Flexible (To be agreed) 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £42,550 - £47,870 per annum (actual), depending on location

Then you could now help create and deliver an effective equality, diversity and inclusion strategy. 

About you: 

In this influential role, you will lead the organisation in ensuring that they take all practicable steps to create a representative workforce. More than that, you will work at all levels of the organisation to help them overcome any real or perceived barriers to volunteering opportunities, employment or access to services. By drawing on your experience of equality, diversity and inclusion legislation and delivering large scale programmes of work, you will be instrumental in making sure that they live up to their ambitions, both internally and publicly. 

You must have a substantial, demonstrable understanding of discrimination legislation across the different legal jurisdictions they work in. You will also have significant experience of developing, managing and evaluating equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives, preferably at a senior or national level. Strong influencing skills and professional presence will be key to your success in this role. 

While you do not need to be based in London, you must be willing to travel regularly to the central office and occasionally to the other counties in which they operate.
