OVERALL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

To proactively manage a wide range of customers across the manufacturing and retail business units to achieve the budgeted sales position as set out in the P&L. These include customers like Hallodies, Borg Bakery, Iceland, Nisa and B&M.

To champion their customers and/or brand to ensure a profitable and sustainable business growth in line with the Company Vision, Mission and Values.

There are significant opportunities for growth in this area of the business and so a strong team player who is results driven and self-motivated to succeed is essential.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

•             To manage existing customer accounts ensuring growth and margins targets are achieved.

•             To develop new business both with new customers or new categories within existing                                  customer base in line with company strategy.

•             Responsible for assessing new customer and project viability, with full responsibility for all                          product costing models.

•             Continually assessing the market place for new opportunities and being aware of competitor                      activity.

•             Ensuring the KPI’s for customers are achieved and are regularly reviewed to ensure                                  relevance.

•             Manage relationship with procurement colleagues regarding costs and availability.

•             In addition, this person will have an overall responsibility for all products sold, such that the                      role requires project management by working closely with development, technical,                                    production and supply chain teams to ensure the product is delivered to customer on time,                        to the right spec and with the right volume.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

2 years + FMCG/Sales focussed organisation – desirable

Previous NAM work - Desirable

The individual should be highly numerate and possess good communication skills.

They should be highly organised, flexible and able to work and prioritise under pressure.
