An established local business with a nationwide presence is seeking a proactive and professional individual to join their busy finance team in the role of Purchase Ledger Assistant.
Your new role
Working in a team setting you will play a pivotal role in the management of the purchase ledger function with key duties including invoice matching and input; chasing outstanding order numbers; obtaining invoice authorisation; resolving supplier queries; statement reconciliations and preparing payment runs. Alongside this you work as part of a wider finance and have the opportunity to support with other tasks during peak periods.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have had recent accounts administration and purchase ledger experience combined with an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. A proactive and positive approach to problem solving combined with a strong team work ethic will be essential.
