Salary: £20-22,000 per annum, negotiable dependent upon experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our dynamic customer for a Project Coordinator to join a successful and expanding team here in Cardiff on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis. Our customer is a successful and growing company with an award-winning range of products, solutions and services within the IT / Technology sector. They have enjoyed great success in growing their business both here in the UK and across International markets.
Reporting to Company Management / Directors, the successful candidate would be responsible for coordinating resources to successfully deliver projects and solutions to customers, ensuring that they are delivered within budget, meet customer requirements and timescales and meet the appropriate quality standards.
The role includes planning and scheduling project and support work for 9 team members (8 Web Developers (including 2 Team Leaders) and 1 Designer. You will work closely with the Senior Technical Lead to establish resource that best fits the project and or task and ensure all required information and documentation has been provided to the individual. The role also includes liaison with the Delivery Specialists and Test team to ensure that all projects tasks and requirements are scheduled within appropriate timescales and meeting planned delivery targets and to the relevant quality levels.
The primary tasks and responsibilities of this exciting new position are anticipated to be:
*create, execute and monitor development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
*schedule development work depending on priorities.
*adapt plans as priorities change including planned and unplanned tasks.
*communicate with Technical Lead regarding support queries and rescheduling resources for support as required.
*keeps other Departments of the company well informed of project status and serves as liaison between all operating units.
To prove successful within this fantastic new opportunity, we anticipate that the successful candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
*previous experience working in a technical environment and scheduling technical resources.
*proven ability to deliver several project implementations at once.
*prior experience of scheduling and monitoring resources meeting clients requirements and expectations. The successful candidate will be expected to have:
- experience gathering clarity of vision to create resource schedules.
- experience in coordinating resources to best fit the needs of project implementations.
- ability to amend and react promptly, calmly and effectively to changing business and project requirements.
*ability to quickly understand technical concepts and products, as well as relaying that information to non-technical people.
