Science Teaching Assistant - Stansted
We are excited to be able to advertise for the position of Science Teaching Assistant in a successful secondary found in Stansted; this post is expected to be offered to a dedicated Science Graduate who is looking to start their Teacher Training in order to become a Qualified Science Teacher.
Initially working in a Teaching Assistant role for the 2017-2018 academic year, the successful Science Graduate will then be enrolled on a PGCE through The University of Buckingham from September 2018. Upon completion of your PGCE, you will be a qualified Science Teacher ready to motivate and inspire the next generation of Scientists!

We are hoping for an imaginative Science graduate who has achieved a 2:2 or above in your degree and has previous experience working in a school. You will have strong personal skills that will help you form strong bonds and an optimistic attitude towards learning. The school are hoping for a graduate who is able to demonstrate a desire to become a teacher in the near future and manage a busy work schedule. You must possess a welcoming attitude and a love of learning.
About the Science Graduate Teaching Assistant role
This Science Teaching Assistant role involves you assisting the delivery of Science lessons across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. Begin to develop your teaching approach through the school's CPD program and get the chance to observe how Science lessons are planned, prepared and delivered as you build up your classroom experience.
