Our Client requires a happy, positive and highly motivated manager to lead and develop their well established but expanding North Finchley Chiropractic wellness practice.

Hours: 40 hours per week plus occasional saturdays


  • Reception duties, liaising with patients and the day-to-day running of the practice
  • Seek opportunities to grow the business by raising the practices profile organizing talks and events in the local community
  • Measure financial performance and report to directors using KPIs
  • Understand and look to reduce operating costs.
  • Effectively manage all employee relations issues and the recruitment process for new team members. Provide induction of team, Organise team development and training, ensuring team are up to date to fulfil compliance/attendance with CPD training
  • Advocate a culture of Change Leadership, Management and Communication
  • Assist in creating a culture of continuous improvement and focus on service excellence to provides sustainable competitive advantage
  • Ensure all team promote a positive and professional image of the Practice at all times and be knowledgeable about the services the Practice provides
  • To ensure that the Practice provides a high level of customer care to all patients
  • Ensure effective communication in all key business relationships
  • Lead the quality control of the Practice ensuring cleanliness at all times
  • Actively manage complaints
  • Carry out team appraisals
  • Manage any absence and sickness of team
  • Motivate and lead the Practice team. Encourage effective teamwork across the Practice
  • To be responsible for I.T. systems and equipment to ensure team work effectively
  • Achieve and maintain practice accreditations
  • Organise and run Practice meetings and ensure all team are aware of Practice policies and procedures
  • Manage efficiently and effectively small projects as required to deliver new systems and procedures on time and within budget
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement
  • Oversee the stock control and the appropriate ordering of supplies/equipment for the efficient running of the Practice. Liaise with external suppliers to ensure stock is purchased efficiently and delivered in a timely manner

You will have:

  • Good I.T. skills (Microsoft office systems)
  • Excellent people management skills/communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A track record of operational and business improvement
  • Experience of working in a business oriented, commercial and customer focussed environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional approach at all times
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • An interest in Health and Wellness
