Our client, a respected national children and young person's Charity, are recruiting for Project Workers to join their new Hull based emotional health and well being service. This exciting service will focus on supporting 11 - 15 year olds with their mental health needs and assisting them to build resilience through group, 121 and family support.

You will be delivering evidenced based group work programmes to young people and accompanying family and follow up 121 support to young people and their families across Hull.

You will also be responsible for facilitating awareness raising activities in schools and for working closely with schools and early help colleagues. You will be contribute to multi-agency meetings and maximising support and ensuring timely responses to the needs of young people and their families.

You will receive training to become an accredited facilitator in delivering Wrap group work programmes which promote resilience and positive emotional/mental health in young people and additional training in CBT approaches

Our client is looking for candidates with a proven track record of working with children and young people and an ability to engage them in group work/ activities. You will need to be motivate, confident and dynamic in your approach.

You will also need to have a strong knowledge of the issues facing young people and how they impact of their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

They are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills in order to support a young people's engagement and application to the group programmes.
