Manage the defined IT Vendors ensuring delivery of contracted services
Ensure strong relationships are built enabling the business to leverage 'best service for best price' at all times.
Understand the key cost drivers behind contracted services and review Vendor invoices for accuracy (and approve / reject as appropriate) in order to ensure Vendors are billing accurately and in line with contract
Drive Vendor cost reduction and performance improvement in order to maximise the value from Vendor relationships over and above contractual commitments
Manage Vendor commercial issues and negotiate their settlement to avoid escalation
Assist, and possibly manage any live or ongoing service incidents where the Vendor is not performing as expected.
For key Vendors, manage SLAs and KPIs, reviewing information on those Vendors in monthly dashboards in order to provide an holistic view of Vendor performance
Adhere to agreed Vendor governance attending regular operational and governance meetings to ensure any Vendor relationship, delivery, quality or commercial issues are highlighted and resolved.
Able to analyse contracts and spend - implementing KPIs, Service Improvements and Cost savings
You must have experience of working within, or managing, outsource managed services contracts, as well as an excellent understanding and experience of interacting with other ITIL processes such as Service, Change and Problem Management
Strong service awareness alongside risk management and mitigation
Knowledge of IT Service Delivery Management (ITIL) preferred but not essential
