We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Sales Support for a major energy supplier with direct responsibility for the development and coaching of the Key Account Field Support Team to provide proactive and efficient support to the Key Account channel. You will own and develop all front-end sales processes whilst continuously looking for efficiencies and better ways of working and enhance sales reporting to identify key trends and opportunities. Key responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach and develop the Key Account Support Team
  • Create an environment of continual improvement and development in sales support function
  • Performance management of the team to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure that processes are fit for purpose and identify areas for continual improvement
  • Ensure that all sales activities and process are compliant and meet regulatory requirements
  • Development, design and implementation of new sales process
  • Ownership and development of the sales CRM system - SalesForce.com
  • Support on large tender responses through the ownership of the bid management library
  • Delivery of Key Performance Indicators
  • Key lead on customer portal for sales
  • Contribute to development and implementation of the S&M strategy

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of working in a sales environment
  • Experience of managing support teams within the UK Gas and Electricity supply market
  • Experience working with SalesForce.com
  • Experience of working with high level data
  • Developing and implementing process improvement and change projects
  • Worked within a fast-paced sales environment
  • Driven and motivated to deliver change and results
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
