Overview:

We’re looking for a creative, smart and hands-on Content Marketing
Strategist to join our retail ecommerce client. It is an exciting time to join the company as they are look to expand their content team with the aim to generate fresh and engaging content for their blog, social and other channels.


We are looking for someone who will be confident (and experienced) in
developing and delivering a content marketing strategy that supports their
brand strategy and marketing objectives. As well developing a content
marketing strategy and who can implement it.
You need to be confident in copywriting and concept creation in order to
deliver their unique brand story to customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy
  • Concepting, creating and managing content on our website, blog,
    newsletters and social channels
  • To constantly learn and develop a good understanding about our
    customer’s behaviours, interests and habits
  • Turn blog into a hub for compelling content that will resonate with
    our target customer as well as being shareable
  • Working closely with PR team to work on opportunities with
    influencers, guest bloggers and online publications
  • Champion tone of voice and ensure all content is on brand and
    consistent in terms of style and quality
  • Establish a clear work flow and content calendar
  • Drive performance using insights and data to test our approach and
    ensure content is tracked and monitored effectively

You will:

  • Have a degree in a communications, marketing or media discipline and
    gained 2-3 years of relevant work experience either agency or in-house
  • Be a confident and great communicator (verbal and written) with a flair
    for creative writing
  • Be a self starter and highly organised
  • Possess excellent copy writing skills
  • Have an excellent understanding of SEO and SEO best practices
  • Have some experience with Google Analytics
  • Nice to have: UX understanding and experience with relevant tools such
    as Moz, Search Metrics, SEMRush
