Are you a 1st class or 2:1 degree holder who would like to gain experience in a busy school environment prior to doing teacher training? Would you be keen to take on a role that is more than a Teaching Assistant role, where you can get involved in the pastoral side of education?

Located in Haringey, North London this well run Secondary School has been raising attainment and improving outcomes for all of its students since the arrival of the forward thinking Head teacher and her senior leadership team some five years ago. The school has seen vast improvements in all areas with GCSE scores last year reaching a new high of 74% A-C for 5 subjects including Maths and English. About the Role - Graduate Achievement Coach
This is a varied role that incorporates both in class teaching assistant duties, acting as a mentor for selected students and intervention work with small groups. The post requires a first class or 2:1 degree holder with excellent A-Levels and GCSE's as a minimum. The role will also require someone with the right personality to inspire and the confidence to bring out the best in these able students. This role requires someone with an exemplary character to act as a great role model for this students. This role is a rewarding position that will give you great experience and understanding of what it takes to teach a top London School.
