Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 35 hours pw Monday-Friday

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000pa (basic) + 1st year potential OTE: 12-15k + company vehicle, private healthcare, iPad, iPhone, laptop and other benefits.

ArjoHuntleigh are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, successful sales person with a good understanding of the NHS and the processes they use to join a leading global medical devices company.

The CompanyArjoHuntleigh are a leading provider of managed service contracts whose product portfolio encompasses medical equipment and integrated solutions for patient handling and hygiene, medical beds and therapeutic surfaces, wound healing, DVT prevention, disinfection and diagnostics.

This is a very exciting time for ArjoHuntleigh and we are looking for excellent applicants that are looking to build a long term career with us.The RoleWe are looking for a sales Account Manager to join our South team, selling into the acute and community sectors within the NHS, Private Hospitals and equipment loan Stores.

Geographical coverage: Hampshire, Berkshire & Buckinghamshire areas. (We do require that you live on/within easy access to your territory area.)

Product Range: Patient Handling disinfection and acron (PHDA)

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Account Manager

  • Sell ArjoHuntleigh’s products and solutions to existing and potential customers

  • Use account planning tools to prepare account plans for major accounts, to ensure effective liaison between ArjoHuntleigh personnel to achieve company objectives.

  • Manage the purchasing process, including completing and responding to tenders and purchase requests.

  • Maintain a level of specialist clinical knowledge to ensure effective liaison with specialists and conduct assessments as required.

  • Monitor and report on personal, customer, market and competitor activities and provide relevant forecasts and reports.

  • Attend exhibitions and events in the UK and possibly overseas on occasion.

Essential Skills or Experience

  • It is essential to have a track record of sales success in a similar customer-facing role. Ideally you will come from a background in medical devices or have experience working as a nurse.

  • The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the NHS and the UK medical sector

  • You should be computer literate with experience in using Word, Excel, Powerpoint and CRM systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both over the telephone and face to face.

  • You should be a confident and proactive sales person with the ability to build effective long term relationships with others in order to successfully meet your targets.

  • A high level of professionalism, compassion and the ability to handle difficult conversations with customers is essential.

  • The ability to organise and manage your own time and workload effectively to achieve your KPIs.

  • Highly driven and motivated to be a successful Account Manager

Please note:

  • You must be required to lift bedframes and mattresses.

  • You will be required to hold a full drivers licence.

  • Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will be required.
