An internationally renowned lift and escalator company who provides innovative and eco-efficient solutions for lifts, escalators, doors, loading bays and access are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for their Major Projects Team. They support their customers every step of the way; from design, manufacturing and installation to maintenance and modernisation and employ over 43,000 dedicated experts to serve their clients globally and locally in over 50 countries.

As a Quantity Surveyor in their successful Major Projects Team you will be responsible for ensuring also commercial aspects of projects are being managed and run. This will range in ensuring application of payment through to managing correspondence between the client and the Project Management Team. You will also be required to present detailed cost information and cost forecast's for projects as well as management of sub-contractors including assessment and selection, placing orders and continuous liaison with installation Project Supervisors.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to turn strategy into objectives and actions as well as striving to exceed customer expectations. It is essential that you have a degree in quantity surveying or achieved or working towards the RICS parts 1 & 2 exemptions. You should have previous experience in similar role within the construction industry, and can demonstrate successful commercial and financial management of a number of contracts. A Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and good organisation will do well in the position.
