Finance/Investment Assistant - Specialist Pensions & Investment Company

Edinburgh based

£20,000 + Excellent Package, including Exam Sponsorship

A leading name in the Investment market with offices throughout the UK requires a strong candidate with previous comparable experience in a Financial Services organisation to join their Edinburgh office within a Finance/Investment Assistant role.

The role will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of member VAT returns
  • Preparing and reviewing members VAT returns including the collation of data, reconciliation of scheme bank accounts and liaising with business partners and members
  • Ensuring prompt payment of VAT due on member VAT returns
  • Acting as a point of contact for all related queries from internal and external clients
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and penalty risks minimised

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Previous experience working for a Financial Services organisation within a comparable position
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Desire to deliver client service excellence
  • Willingness to learn
