Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance Business Partnering. Our client is a dynamic, commercial group based in South West London who are undergoing an exciting period of growth and change. This newly created role presents an opportunity to establish a bespoke business wide Finance Business Partnering function where you can make lasting differences.

This role will be a key partner to the Senior Management Team and report into the Director of Finance, providing executive level advice and support for all aspects of finance (both strategic and operational) to drive the continued success of the business delivery group. Specifically, this role will;
-Manage a team of capable, qualified Finance Business Partners in delivering comprehensive management reporting
-Provide independent challenge and support to the business including insight on complex business decisions
-Set the strategic longer term direction of Finance in support of the wider business agenda
-Drive commercial focus and understanding, including pricing and commercial contracts, particularly for new developments
-Provide financial analysis, challenge and post decision monitoring of major investments plans
-Lead the finance element of business planning and budgeting, including capital budgeting
-Review the management accounting reports and information to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business at all levels
-Identify and implement system developments and process simplifications to deliver continuous improvement
-Support projects through the investment decision making process across the groups capital portfolio of over 1 billion pounds per year

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a solid grounding in finance, leading into Business Partnering in a reputable firm. You will have a proven track record in financial management and control in a large commercial environment with extensive evidence of presenting to and challenging senior management. It is essential that you have proven experience of negotiating and building partnerships, using influence to modify behavior and improve the outcome of business interactions.
