Our client, a Facilities Management service provider, is recruiting a professional and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team to work nights. The business is offering fantastic training opportunities and a leading career progression program.

Duties will include:

  • Undertake all aspects of planned preventative maintenance and suggest any improvements.

  • Provide technical support, advice and guidance to the team and customers onsite.

  • Communicate with the client ensuring excellent service delivery.

  • Complete all relevant records, log books and reports.

  • Manage visiting specialist sub-contractors, issuing the relevant permit to work documents.

  • Maintain the safety and wellbeing of self and others, in accordance with relevant Health & Safety legislation.

  • Responsible for Electrical fault finding.

  • Responsible for Electrical repairs.

  • Maintain systems of effective timely communication.

  • Ensure Job knowledge is cascaded down though the team and with clients on site.

The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified holding current 17th Edition IEE wiring regulations and a minimum of C&G Level 2. Ideally you will have experience of working in a critical/data centre environment with awareness of BMS, UPS and generators. HV or LV AP is highly beneficial although not essential as training will be provided. You should also be able to work independently with a proactive attitude and strong problem solving skills and must be competent in the use of Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel.

You will need to possess a full UK Driving License, and will be provided with a company van.

The working hours for this role are 6pm - 4am.
