iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Brighton who are looking for a New Business Development Manager to join their expanding team. They are looking for someone to identify, develop and grow new, sizeable and interesting business opportunities. This is a new role to support the business with future growth plans and will be working within an established sales team based in the Brighton office, very close to the train station and local cafes and shops. Our client will support you in the role, helping you to achieve and exceed your annual targets and client expectations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively qualify, generate and pursue new leads and enquiries
  • Conduct demonstrations, help prepare effective proposals, tenders and presentations
  • Work closely with marketing and lead generation/central functions
  • Develop a broad knowledge of the company’s proposition, products and services
  • Maintain accurate, up to date contact and activity records and information, utilising the Salesforce CRM system
  • Promote Brightwave via networking events, conferences and exhibitions
  • Provide regular and accurate updates on sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Keep up to date with learning technology and trends

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a B2B new business sales - ideally within digital learning
  • Background in digital learning technology or software solutions
  • Creative, consultative approach to new business development
  • Track record of selling complex solutions to FTSE 350 clients
  • Able to articulate learning solutions based on customer needs
  • Experience of working across the entire sales cycle
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High standard of computer literacy including CRM systems
  • Determined, driven and 'likes to win’
  • Resilient, self-sufficient, able to influence and negotiate
