£19,387 per annum for 36 hours per week based at Epsom General Hospital, Dorking Road, Epsom, KT18 7EG.

This is a permanent full time position

In order to provide the best outcomes for the people of Surrey we provide a seven day 8am to 8pm service

The team covers the service which operates from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. In practice this means our staff work one 12 midday to 8pm shift per week , occasionally one 8am to 4pm shift per week and the remaining shifts are 9am – 5pm. Staff are expected to work an average of one weekend 9am to 5pm day per month (either Saturday or Sunday with day off in lieu)

About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for an Administration Assistant in our team based in Epsom General Hospital. We are looking for someone to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Adult Social Care Team.

You will be undertaking general administrative duties in order to provide support to a front line operational team within Adult Social Care.

You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will be expected to deal with complex telephone enquiries and a wide range of correspondence and scanning duties. In addition, you will have the skills to enable you to take notes and minutes of meetings. You will have a mature approach and will be well organised and able to work under pressure, on occasions, to tight deadlines. You will also have excellent customer service and IT skills - all short listed applicants will be required to complete a basic IT skills test as part of the interview process.

You will have previous experience of working in a busy office environment and have the ability to work as part of a team whilst being proactive and using your initiative.
