Bookkeeper required for a construction business in Colchester who will be moving to Halstead.
Your new company
This is rapidly expanding construction business are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to be based in Colchester and have the flexibility to move with them to Halstead in the next 6 - 9 months.
Your new role
In this newly created role you will be solely responsible for a division of the group covering purchase & sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations and payroll. Reporting to the Managing Director you also be expected to produce cash-flow reports, debtor lists and basic profit & loss reports. Previous experience of construction would be an advantage but not essential however the ability to work in a small team and be highly organised to work in a fast-pace business. You will also be responsible for general office administration as well as dealing with a variety of telephone calls.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a construction-related finance background and the ability to produce accounts to trial balance. The key aspect of this role is location as they are currently based in Colchester and they will be moving to Halstead so we need to be confident you can work at both locations.

This is a full time role working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, free car-parking on-site.
