Trainee Maths Teacher Specification
To be shortlisted for this role you must be a Maths Graduate who has achieved a 2:2 or above in your degree. Experience of working within a school setting is highly desirable, however working with children in another capacity is acceptable. The school want to meet proactive, personable and driven graduates who want to progress into a teaching role and have the personality to enthuse, inspire and motivate mixed ability learners. About the Trainee Maths Teacher Role
This is the perfect role for a graduate who wants to get their foot in the door of a thriving school and quickly work their way up through the ranks. In this 2-year teacher training programme, you will gain excellent experience of working on a 1:1 basis with children and supporting in small groups, as well as gaining exposure to book marking, lesson planning and delivering sections of the lesson before completing your PGCE in your second year. Accredited by The University of Buckingham, the successful applicant will be awarded with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) on completion of the programme and dependant on your performance there may be a job opportunity for you at your training school…Is this exactly what you’ve been searching for?
