Location: Home based

Salary: £70,000

If so, a leading energy supplier is looking for a Head of Key Account Management to manage and coach a field based sales team to deliver both gross margin and sales targets via both direct and TPI channel. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coach a team of senior Key Account Managers to deliver sales via the Direct and Indirect routes to market
  • Using SalesForce.com provide accurate forecasting of new business pipelines
  • Develop the sales team through sales excellence to ensure best in class account management
  • Working with S&M Director, develop a sales strategy that delivers strategic customers and high customer retention.
  • Drive a culture of success and innovation and move from transactional to solution selling
  • Using a collaborative approach, successfully manage internal stakeholders
  • Develop and grow External Portfolio Management Services through UK customers
  • Develop a culture of success, development and teamwork
  • Deliver consistent and regular feedback on tenders, products and competition

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 3yrs managing senior Field based sales teams with proven success
  • Minimum of 5ys experience in the gas and electricity industry
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Flexible Electricity and Gas contracts
  • Excellent knowledge of sales processes and ideally strategic selling trained
  • Experience of selling high value gas and power contracts to UK customers in multiple sectors
  • Experience of selling risk management services
  • Experience of selling energy solutions through a consultative approach
  • Good presentation skills
