D&B Business Development Manager

Developed with the aim of promoting excellence in office design and a personal approach that leaves clients delighted. This company was established by an expert in the field who has great plans for the future growth of the business. You will be instrumental in making these plans a reality.
A hybrid telesales/networking role, you’ll be responsible for driving business through a number of means. Your day to day work involves calling senior decision-makers responsible for the buildings and interiors at companies across the UK. You’ll need to establish credibility quickly and then open up your potential clients to share information with you about their property plans. If their need matches the service you offer, you’ll be expected to book appointments for the relevant colleagues to meet them face-to-face.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to come armed with a contact book of senior professionals such as agents and landlords and know how to utilize those contacts. Your working week will be split between being on the phone in the office and out and about networking to generate the best long-term opportunities possible.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- To be comfortable cold calling as well as maintaining relationships face to face
- An extensive contact book of relevant individuals such as agents and landlords
- In depth knowledge of the design and build industry
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the D&B realm.
