Role: Consumer PR Manager- Large International FMCG Brand
Salary: Up to £35K depending on experience
Location: West London

The company

My client, a household international FMCG brand is looking for a PR Manager to join their team. This is a really well know brand, making shockwaves, especially in the healthy eating/living space. With offices and production lines globally including in East Asia, the USA and Australia there is a great possibility to travel.

The offices are based in beautiful serviced offices near Edgware. This is a great opportunity for a driven PR Manager to join this global company.

The role - Consumer PR Manager

The Consumer PR Manager will sit within the 16 strong UK team, and take responsibility for the strategy. You will need to cover the PR for all angles of the FMCG brand, including events.

The Consumer PR Manager will:
* Plan and propose PR activity and strategies
* Maintain and build good working relationships with both lifestyle and consumer media.
* Produce content for both offline and online media, such a press releases, images etc.
* Plan, manage and host press events
* Crisis management (if/when necessary)
* Keep up to date with industry trends
* Liaise with the wider marketing team to ensure plans are congruent

About you

The new Consumer PR Manager will need to work within the FMCG PR industry, and have previous experience of working client side. Experience working on healthy snacks would be beneficial yet not essential.

You will:
* Either work in a PR agency or an in house PR team with circa 4 years' experience
* Have strong media contacts within the nationals, consumer and FMCG trade media
* Have managed PR campaigns from inception to delivery
* Have experience hosting media events
* Be able to work well independently, with a self-starting attitude
