Up to £13.50 - £14.80 depending on experience

Summary
This job is for an experienced Tool Room Machinist who can Mill, Turn and Grind manually and on CNC machinery, ideally within aerospace and industrial environments.
You would be working on the following shift:
Monday - Thursday 7.00 - 16.45 (37 hours per week)

You will have very good attention to detail, a 'can do' attitude and be a team player.

The Package
This Tool Room Machinist position is a permanent position, offering a minimum hourly rates of £13.50 per hour.
Rate depends on experience, and will be confirmed after interview stage.

Job Details
*Tool Room Machinist - working manually and on CNC machines
*Will be milling, turning and grinding
*Working on aerospace, automotive and industrial contracts
*Experience of Jig and Fixture manufacture ideal
*Must be capable of working direct from drawing to finished product
*Manual handling aspects therefore must be used to following HSE elements found in a usual shop floor environment

Person Specification
*Must be conversant with all Tool room operations and processes
*Is advantageous to have worked within an aerospace environment previously
*Good attention to detail
*Ability to read from technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
*Ability to interpret and act upon CMM inspection results
*Able to work proactively - under limited instruction
*Team player who is flexible and can also work independently and under pressure
*Target and quality driven
*A focus and understanding on the importance of Health and Safety is vital
*Excellent time keeping is essential
