Infrastructure Analyst required to join a successful Global company for a permanent position within their Glasgow City Centre Office.

You will be joining the technical support team responsible for supporting the company's global internal IT infrastructure, working to ensure that all internal systems and environments are performing as planned, providing a high level of support to all areas of the business.

This position covers a wide variety of responsibilities from the installation, configuration and maintenance of desktop, server and network environments to ongoing and new technical project work, so you must come from an all-round Infrastructure engineering or Support background.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Windows Server environments, including configuration of server hardware.
* Responsible for the Installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows desktop infrastructure.
* Ongoing maintenance of the desktop, server and network infrastructure including patching and updates of software and hardware.
* Providing documentation for systems and processes, logging and escalating incidents accordingly.
* Supporting Onsite staff remotely and face to face when required.
* Contributing and assisting with technical projects across the wider business.



Skill set:

* Experience of deploying and administering Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012.
* Experience of installing, configuring and supporting a Microsoft Windows Desktop Environment.
* Experience of managing firewalls and network access points.
* Proficient in performing maintenance tasks on desktop and server environment including deployment of system patches and software upgrades.
* Knowledge of disk and tape backup solutions.
* Experience of administering Active Directory within a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
* Good working knowledge of networking protocols and associated technologies - DHCP / DNS
* Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016 administration.
* Administration and support of VMware vSphere virtual environments including the deployment of VMs.
