Sales & Purchase Ledger clerk - Stroud - £18,000 - £20,000

Specialist provider of solutions to the aerospace industry is looking for an experienced Accounts Clerk following an internal promotion. The successful applicant will take responsibility for the sales and purchase ledger.

With a turnover in excess of £10m and around 140 staff in total, duties will include:

* Processing supplier invoices
* Nominal coding
* Issuing remittance advices
* Statement reconciliations
* Arranging BACS payment runs
* Online banking
* Resolving sales invoice queries from customers
* Sending reminder emails/making phone calls for overdue balances
* Allocating cash to customer accounts
* Provide occasional cover for reception

In addition to previous accounts experience the successful applicant will have a sound grasp of MS Excel,

Word as well as a good telephone manner and writing skills.

Hours of work:

8am - 5pm Mon-Thurs & 8am - 1pm Fri with some flexibility if required
