We are currently supporting the recruitment of an experienced In-house Recruitment Advisor within a forward thinking and highly skilled company to support their ongoing growth. Experience of working within an Engineering / technical working environment is essential.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Ensuring exceptional communication with all candidates at every stage of the recruitment process
* Actively promoting the company employment brand and values internally and externally
* Working with hiring managers to produce job descriptions and sourcing plans for all vacancies
* Providing advice and guidance to hiring managers on market conditions and recruitment best practice
* Posting jobs to job sites and social media as appropriate
* Actively sourcing/headhunting candidates through CV databases and social media channels
* Shortlisting candidates for review by the hiring managers
* Liaising with the hiring managers to obtain CV and interview feedback
* Conducting telephone and face to face interviews, assessing candidates' capabilities and fit for their company culture and values
* Managing the offer process, including salary negotiations with candidates
* Overseeing the on-boarding process for new starters, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout
* New starter inductions
* Updating and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System

Skills and experience required:

* Minimum of 3-4 years' experience of working within an in-house recruitment /RPO role preferred
* Experience of working within an engineering /IT/Technical environment
* Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other MS packages
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Working within a fast-paced environment
* Flexible and adaptable - Some travel to other sites will be required
* Experience of working with an applicant tracking system
* Understanding of social media
* Confident persona
* Build good strong relationships with managers

Salary and benefits:

* Circa £30K + excellent benefits

Working hours:

* Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
* 40 hours per week
