A leading London Market insurer based in Central London is recruiting for a senior Portfolio Planning Manager.

This senior role within the Portfolio Office will report directly into the Head of Portfolio Office. The primary focus of the role will be to fully develop and maintain the portfolio plan, provide assurance of the plan and provide meaningful analysis that helps to mitigate delivery risks. In addition the role will also have accountability for resource management and providing accurate data to help the business resource requirements. Managing another team member (Portfolio Resource Analyst) the role of the Portfolio Planning Manager is to ensure that the portfolio plan is accurate and contains all relevant information. The portfolio plan should be able to track progress against agreed millstones/stages, identify dependencies and support with early warning of issues.

In additional the role will also play a significant role in the Portfolio Planning Cycle and be responsible for running both the change selection process and delivery planning. This will require an advanced level of stakeholder management skills and a good commercial/strategic understanding.
