Our client is a highly profitable subsidiary of a larger group which is rapidly expanding due to launching a new and exciting product range. Their recent success means that they now require a Management Accountant to join their Finance team, focusing on business partnering with the marketing, supply chain and sales departments. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with high commercial acumen who is looking to progress within a growing and successful organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will be as follows:-

*Business partnering with the commercial departments as listed above, focussing on new products and company profitability
*Ownership of the Dealer Rebate Control Account
*Processing monthly accruals on SAP
*Manage the marketing expenditure against agreed budget
*Looking at current processes and making any recommendations/improvements where necessary
*Assisting with accounting for leases
*Working closely with the Product Managers, reviewing actual and forecasted spend against budgets
*Accounting for Free of Charge products processed in SAP and where necessary adjusting for VAT
*Audit support
*Accounting for warranty claims
*Balance sheet reconciliations and interrogation
*Other ad hoc work as required

To be the successful candidate for this role you will ideally be a qualified accountant with an ambitious career plan where you will be working closely with non finance/commercial departments. Experience using SAP would be highly advantageous for this role and you must be confident with Excel with a strong analytical mind-set. You need to be able to demonstrate that you have the ability to turn data into meaningful information.
