We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager who will be responsible for the development of our brand marketing plan(s) in coordination with the overall business sales plan.

Job Description

The Brand Manager will report into the Sales Director and is responsible for leading strategic and operational marketing activities.

You will, amongst other duties, create marketing plans, strategies and budgets; manage relationships internally and with external suppliers and agencies; manage the CRM (Salesforce) database to monitor and report back on progress of campaigns and produce user friendly reports and analysis to drive future marketing activity whilst ensuring our corporate identity is maintained and promoted throughout all marketing media; book, plan and deliver various trade and customer exhibitions and monitor and report on their return on investment. You will also monitor competitor activity to ensure we remain at the forefront of the sector.

It is crucial that the Brand Manager builds an excellent understanding of our current and potential customers to enable you to create marketing plans and strategies that align themselves with the company sales goals and create marketing collateral that support these plans, which our customers can engage with, to help drive the growth ambitions of the business. You will help to improve our lead generation and quote conversion rate working alongside the sales team. You will develop creative and compelling new marketing campaigns, and undertake post-campaign analysis.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal who will thrive in our environment, due to our growth, you can expect your role to grow with you. You will be adaptable, flexible, and able to respond well to pressure, and be able to establish great working relationships internally with colleagues/departments and external suppliers and agencies.

The successful candidate will have plenty of operational marketing experience as well as being able to think and lead strategically, plan ahead and adapt as you go. Managing tasks simultaneously to meet strict deadlines is a must. The role requires a proactive approach and a ‘can do` attitude with a meticulous eye for detail. To excel in this role, you need to be an independent thinker, but first and foremost, a great leader. You will share the company values and be passionate about what we want to achieve and understand the part you will play in the delivering company objectives. You will have strong analytical and project management skills, and have experience of both online and offline marketing.

You will also be highly IT literate and have an aptitude and willingness to learn new technology. Ideally you will hold a relevant marketing degree or Institute of Marketing qualification and have relevant marketing experience in the IT channel. Some domestic travel will be expected, along with a willingness to attend and be present at organised external events (as applicable).
