I am recruiting on behalf of an established hotel based in the heart of Croydon. The role has become vacant due to a recent take over.

The Objective:
To ensure maximum revenue is achieved on any given day by using yield management techniques. To achieve, if not exceed the budgets & targets within the department. To manage all element of revenue and reservations management.

Main Duties:
• To achieve the budget as set out on a monthly period, ensuring the profitability of the departments is built on.
• To ensure the best practices in yield management are in place and the maximum revenue is achieved on any given day.
• To complete the room’s revenue daily stats report on a daily basis and to use this as a yield management tool. The sell rates should be monitored/changed based on the movement of rooms sold. The revenue build is also monitored very closely and an investigation into why revenue has dropped out if this is the case. Trends of the hotel should be highlighted.
• To ensure the hotels rates are competitive and a competitors analysis completed daily
• To manage effectively all distribution channels, in order to achieve this the channel manager should be set up and managed correctly.
• To ensure all websites have up to date information, content, pictures, room types etc. The Website tracker is completely monthly analysing production from all sites. Telephone review meetings and face to face meetings with the website account managers at the hotel is extremely important to ensure maximum production from all sites where needed. Ranking on each website is extremely important.
• To chair the weekly yield meetings with the General Manager each week and ensure minutes/actions of this meeting are send to the Group Revenue Manager in a timely manner.
• Weekly rooms revenue report to be completed weekly, detailed commentary on current month plus two months is to be reported on. Detail is required on each month
• Forecasting/Action plan: Where revenue is falling short of budget an action plan needs to be put in plan and executed in good time to ensure the hotel reaches its potential revenue.
• To maintain the brand site to the highest standard, review of the daily report to ensure
potential revenue. To ensure special offers are creative. A monthly call with the account manager to review monthly report and ppc.
• To share any knowledge of events & market trends that will impact the London and local markets

• To maintain very good communication with the Corporate Executives
